 | Although it can be less expensive to mix the sound onstage from the front console, musicians who require "the best sound" for their audience and their stage sound prefer to use a separate monitor mixer.This means that musicians have their own monitor sound technician beside the stage whose sole task is to take care of the sound onstage. This makes it possible to communicate with the monitor technician quickly, at the same time that this person is able to hear the exact sound that each musician hears, allowing the technician to provide the perfect sound balance. This in turn means that the sound technician in the venue can concentrate on creating the perfect sound mix for the audience, with all of the necessary effects, compressors and gates, without this affecting the sound onstage. The size of the package will depend on the number of musicians, the size of the stage, the number of channels you need, etc. Here are some of our packages:
Large Monitor Mix
This package has primarily been created for use together with the Large or Standard PA Package, where musicians need a mixer with many channels. The mixers offered with this package are the MIDAS XL-250 with 52 inputs and 20 outputs or the Soundcraft SM-16 with 48 inputs and 18 outputs. Up to 16 Turbosound active monitors, with Klark Teknik DN360 equalizers are included in the package. A reverb/delay unit is also included, together with all the necessary cabling and amplification.
Medium Monitor Mix
Customized to go with either the Standard or Medium PA Package. The mixer is a Soundcraft SM12 with 48 inputs and 14 outputs. Up to 12 Turbosound or Martin active monitors with Klark equalizers are included. And all necessary power and cabling is naturally included.
Small Monitor Mix
We offer the small monitor mixer for musicians who have understood the value of using a separate monitor mixer, but who might have a lower budget. This one also suits musicians who don't need as many inputs on the monitor console. This package offers a Soundcraft 400B, with 24 inputs and 10 outputs. Up to 8 separate mixers can be delivered, with the same monitors that we supply in the larger packages. All necessary power and cabling is naturally included.
